Auto shows are the best place to unveil new cars: the press is there, your competitors are there, and your cars are there. If you lack that last bit, however, nothing says you can’t go ahead and make the reveal anyway. This is your show after all!
And so it was that Mercedes-Benz let the world know about not one, not two, but three phantom vehicles that won’t be at the North American International Auto Show this year. Still, some news is better than no news, and it’s exciting to see a few projects that Mercedes-Benz has in store.
- The new C-Class Coupe will appear one year after the new 2015 C-Class takes over showrooms.
- The C63 AMG® will remain the C63 AMG®.
- A station wagon version of the C will be produced, but not for the U.S.
